The Bun Bun's 4 month check!

bun bun had her 4 month well visit. She is doing great, healthy, but was NOT happy with the doctor checking her ears. She let out quite a scream lol. The doctor looked at us and said "Wow....she's got quite a temper!!!" ... Yes doctor, we know!

- She got her shots. She freaked out of course, but we had a bottle ready, and lots of love & hugs & kisses waiting for her. Mama got pretty teary eyed when she cried from the shots :( Not fun.

- She is 12lbs 14oz (34th percentile for weight) and 22in (3rd percentile for height....hahahah) She's a very small girl! Very petite! She is currently in 0-3 month clothes, but most of them are too long on her, so she's still in a few newborn shirts & pants. I remember when I was pregnant, the doctors kept saying "You're going to have a very big baby. 8.5 or 9lbs easy!" HA!!!!!!!!! Then pops out my little 6lb 18inch baby, and shocks them all, lol. I thought she'd be tiny, because Mike and I were (and still are) small people. She fits in well with us :)

- She started rice cereal, which she's REALLY unsure about. Dr said no solids until 6 months other than the rice.

- We've been signing to her, and she recognizes the sign for "milk". If we do it to her she gets excited and starts doing her hungry cry. It's pretty cool that she's associating it already.

- She's doing great with her routine, and is getting better (not great, but definitely improvement...) at falling asleep. She used to FREAK OUT when she'd get tired and cry for long periods of time. She still gets very very cranky when she gets tired, but she goes down a lot easier with minimal crying. Especially at night. We have classical music playing for her all night, which REALLY helps her. She wakes up in the middle of the night when she wants her paci, but once she has it she typically falls right back to sleep. She still takes a nap every 2-3 hours.

- She says "Mama" .......... yeah okay I know it's not with purpose and she's just making noises, but it still excites me, LOL.

- Her favorite thing to do is blow spit bubbles. She is such a pro :)
