So I decided to join the blogging world of mommy's! Tons of my friends have blogs about their children, and I really enjoy reading them, so I figured i'd join in on it too, and hopefully ya'll will enjoy reading about my experiences with Miah!!
Well, Miah is almost 8 weeks old. Time has flown since she's been born! She's come a long way from being our 4 day old 5lb 7oz tiny baby!! She's 9lbs now, and is eating like a champ! It is very bittersweet to see my baby girl growing so fast, but the older she gets, the more alert she becomes, and the more fun I have with her! She's been smiling at Mike and I since she was 5 weeks old, which is a lot of fun. She's recognizing silly noises and noticing our facial expressions. Sometimes she just stares at us. Other times she moves her mouth like she's trying to talk back to us. She's also making such sweet baby noises, and funny screaming noises. She knows the sound of us shaking her bottle and immediately scans the room to find it, then when she sees it she stares and cries until it's in her mouth. This explains why she's a little 9lb chunky butt :)) lol
Some things she likes:
Bright lights
Baby Einstein
Mama singing to her
Her swing
Looking around
Facing outward
Eating
Rocking/Moving
Being naked
Things she doesn't like:
Getting her boogers sucked (hahah, nasty chore but someones gotta do it)
Her car seat (and when she's REALLY not happy with her car seat, she doesn't like car rides either!)
Her medicine for acid reflux
Waiting to be fed
Getting changed or dressed
Overall she's a happy healthy girl, and we couldn't be enjoying her more. It's hard to remember our lives without her...and we feel so blessed to be her parents!
