3 months old!

Miah just turned 3 months old on Friday. It's weird because I feel like time is flying, but at the same time, I feel like this sweet little girl has always been here with us. It's hard to believe we went our entire lives up until 3 months ago without her. She is just the sweetest little addition to our family. Here are some facts about Miah, and who she is as a 3 month old :)


; Miah is Eating 4oz every 2-3 hours. Sometimes 6oz if she's feelin' fiesty :)

; She has found her voice and loves to coo & "Talk" to us. Sometimes, she just "Talks" to herself (Mike and I are sure to listen...she makes the cutest and sweetest sounds imaginable) She has this fake high pitched "scream" as well, which is adorable.

; Her nicknames as of right now are: Snorelax (From Daddy, because she has little baby snores sometimes), Papaya (Because it rhymes with Miah and she's sweet like a papaya lol), Bun Bun (Because she's a snuggle bunny!) Baby (Do I really have to explain this one?)

; She still HATES the car seat, but is getting better with it..................sometimes.

; She LOVES taking baths. I sit in the tub with her and we splash and play and she just loves it. When we take her out of the tub, she screams. She'd probably stay in there for a few hours if we let her!!! She still loves getting her hair washed.

; She is finally beginning to put herself asleep. She always had to be held and rocked. But lately, we've just been putting her down while awake, and she falls asleep without any help from us.

; She has excellent head control, but HATES tummy time.

; She loves her baby einstein dvd. I only put it on maybe once a week for about 10 minutes. I don't want her becoming used to the tv. But she enjoys watching all the colors and shapes, and listening to the music.

; She loves to eat her hands & drool

; She laughs everytime she spits up. It's almost wrong, lol.

; She fights her sleep terribly. But is improving with this.

; She sleeps 12 hours a night and takes a couple of naps a day (typically. sometimes she doesn't nap as much and just goes to bed a little earlier) bed time is between 9 and 10.



In a nutshell, Miah is a very entertaining and very dramatic child (I can't figure out where she gets it from ) .. She will cry if there's a problem, and once we fix the problem she whines and "yells" at us for awhile afterwards. She is sure to let us know she was NOT happy with whatever the problem was....and then some!  Other than her drama mama moments, she's a very happy little girl, who loves to smile and laugh, and loves people. She does seem to get a little overwhelmed sometimes if we're in a crowded place. Sometimes it's better when Mike or myself are holding her, sometimes she just doesn't like it at all, and we have to take her outside ( Fresh air really helps calm her down. ) So while were in large crowds we don't pass her around or anything too much. Her feeling comfortable and safe is priority over others trying to "touch" and "hold" the baby.

Overall, she is an amazing little girl, and has just brought an overwhelming and infinite amount of joy to our hearts and we're truly looking forward to a lifetime of happiness (and im sure frustration, anger, love, tears, and joy) with this amazing child. But a lifetime just doesn't seem long enough with her :)
